The KMP DRIVETRAIN 03.01.00065 limited slip differential (LSD) rear axle system is developed for BMW F-series performance models, including M2, M3, and M4 platforms using the BMW 220 rear axle configuration. Designed for motorsport applications, it provides consistent and predictable locking behavior under high-load conditions.

The differential is supplied with a 60/50 ramp setup and 60 Nm preload as standard, delivering balanced traction and stability. An alternative 50/40 configuration is available upon request, allowing further customization based on driving requirements.

Compared to the OEM Active M differential, which uses an electronically controlled locking mechanism, this plated LSD offers a purely mechanical solution better suited for track-focused use. Installation into the OEM differential housing requires modification, including adaptation of the welded final drive for compatibility.
