HKS 42018-AN003 Boost Controller Power Editor R for NISSAN Z (RZ34)

HKS 42018-AN003 Boost Controller Power Editor R for NISSAN Z (RZ34)

Description HKS 42018-AN003 Boost Controller Power Editor R for NISSAN Z (RZ34)

The HKS Power Editor R is a model-specific boost-up controller developed for the Nissan Z RZ34. By connecting inline with the vehicle’s sensor harness, the system allows an easy and reliable increase in boost pressure. The included harness is designed specifically for the RZ34, enabling a true plug-and-play installation without wiring modifications.

Unlike many conventional boost-up products that rely only on engine RPM signals, the Power Editor R also utilizes vehicle speed and throttle position signals. This allows optimal boost correction for each gear and throttle opening, resulting in smoother and more controllable performance.

The Power Editor R included in this kit comes preloaded with boost-up data, allowing immediate performance improvement after installation. In addition, users can create custom control data using the free Easy Writer for Power Editor R software to fine-tune settings according to individual vehicle characteristics.

  • Inline plug-and-play installation with vehicle-specific RZ34 harness
  • Uses multiple signals including RPM, vehicle speed, and throttle position
  • Preloaded boost-up data for immediate use
  • Custom tuning supported via free Easy Writer software
  • Return connector allows easy restoration to stock condition

The Power Editor R connects to the vehicle’s sensors as follows, assigning each signal to the corresponding control channel:

  • CH1: Boost Pressure Sensor
  • CH2: Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor
  • CH3: Fuel Pressure Sensor
  • CH4: Throttle Position Sensor
  • CH5: Mass Air Flow Meter
  • Cam Angle Sensor (RPM signal)
  • Vehicle Speed Signal (optional)

By installing the Power Editor R, power and torque in the mid-range RPM are significantly increased. The system helps eliminate the torque dip around 3,000 to 4,000 RPM, resulting in a more responsive and enjoyable driving experience.
